Security

High performance security system you can rely onAirports, utility companies, hospitals, universities, national laboratories-they all require seamless and 100-percent effective security systems they can depend on day in and day out. TAC and I/NET Seven provide powerful and reliable security solutions for some of the world's most demanding applications, with features that make your systems easy to install, operate, integrate, expand and maintain-throughout the life of your facilities. No other security products give you the power of I/NET Seven with the impeccable reputation and industry-leading performance of TAC. You can rely on TAC for all your security needs.

Powerful and Efficient Usability

First and foremost, TAC gives you the functionality you want with the ease of operation you need. For every person and every portal protected, the I/NET Seven system ensures ultimate security and convenience, even for multiple facilities using a variety of card readers.

User and card management. I/NET Seven not only lets you set up normal groups but nested, super-groups of groups of doors and people as needed.

Multiple cards per individual with user-defined reader formats. Users holding virtually any style of authorized card- whether public format or proprietary - can move seamlessly from one facility to another.

Image verification.
User image is stored in the I/NET system along with the individual's records, allowing operators to quickly identify any person seeking entry.

Video Badging with Datacard ID Works™. I/NET Seven's integrated Video Badging System makes it fast and efficient to establish employee and visitor data and access privileges. As a badge is issued, the system automatically sets up the badge holder information in I/NET.

Full peer-to-peer control. I/NET Seven lets any device in your system communicate with any other device. For example, the system can automatically activate lighting when guards enter an area, CCTV can record the progress of the tour, the alarms can be disabled locally, and local card readers can be switched to provide immediate duress points.

Robust System Operation

Independent alarm client. I/NET Seven lets you isolate the alarm client from all configuration components so that functionality limits can be tailored for each operator station

.Dynamic event and alarm filters. Filters allow you to configure alarm windows specifically for the needs and roles of individual operators, delivering only those alarms and event messages relevant to the operator's area of responsibility.

Monitoring from multiple locations. I/NET Seven lets you control, monitor and support all devices and controllers anywhere in the system virtually from anywhere in the world. You have complete control of the alarms and messages you want to view, and can access them with a laptop PC from anywhere the corporate WAN is available.

Optimized System Design

Windows® 2000 operating system. I/NET Seven uses the Windows 2000 operating system, selected for its superior performance. Microsoft says, "Windows 2000 is 30 percent faster and, according to NSTL tests, is 13 times more reliable than Window 98."

IT friendly. I/NET Seven hosts and the NetPlus Router support all the standard administration tools most familiar to IT managers of today's TCP/IP Ethernet networks.

Reporting with SevenReports. SevenReports-a version of Crystal Reports-allows you to create ad hoc reports to meet your changing needs.

  • Easily access all system data.
  • Link the database with others.
  • Use standard reporting tools.
  • Use familiar desktop software.

Highly Available and Secure System

I/NET Seven delivers a highly available security solution, hardened to withstand attack while ensuring maximum cost effectiveness and ease of operation. The I/NET Seven system is extremely tolerant to network and cable breakage and gives you maximum reliability without expensive redundant server farms or arrays.

Multiple workstations with no client server needed. I/NET allows you to provide all the system availability you want through a network of equalized workstations, each operating independently. By eliminating the server and moving access and functions to the workstation level, I/NET reduces the system's vulnerability to attack. To increase availability, you simply add another workstation. That's all. No server upgrade or RAID array disk farm, and no escalating maintenance contracts are involved.

Protection against denial-of-service. Every I/NET Seven workstation has a different IP address to make the system more difficult to attack. Should a workstation's IP address be compromised, you can simply change the workstation's address. Up to 48 concurrently operating stations are available to virtually eliminate any effective denial-of-service attacks.

Protection against denial-of-power. The I/NET Seven system design also allows it to resist denial-of-power attacks. Anywhere the network is installed, operators can connect via I/NET to fully manage and control the system, whether it is in the building next door or on another continent.

Protection against physical attack. With the system's distributed architecture, even a physical attack on an individual workstation or location becomes no more than a minor nuisance. To restore control at a moment's notice, simply connect a configured PC at a new location and resume command.

Comprehensive archiving. The protection of event data is perhaps the most important function a security system can perform. I/NET Seven ensures your critical data is archived and configured precisely as you require it, then made available when and how you need it.
